Wow, you’ve got my attention. An SDR transceiver would be fantastic – only one compact rig to do even microwaves. That would have to be the ultimate set-up for Field Days and SOTA. The SDR receivers would be neat to use as monitors/scanners – memory numbers limited only by my computer. Then there are the visual displays. Unlimited possibilities. All in a matchbox?
Sure beats the WW2 gear I started out with.
Cheers.
Great stuff! Thank you!

All of these are great. I have tracked high-altitude balloons using the NESDR Mini 2 before. A little drifty until it warms up, but then it’s solid as a rock with high sensitivity.
That HackRF though…. *drool* 😀
Thank you for giving me a chance to win the HackRF. I have always wanted one but could not afford one.

At the ham shack in the South Florida Science Center we have an operating ham radio station. I provide demonstrations of the RTL-SDR describing it as the crystal radio of the 21st century. Linked with the signal wiki I demonstrate the sights and sounds of communications. Eventually we would like to put together an RTL-SDR kit that would be available in the science center gift shop.
We are also experimenting to use the RTS-SDR in combination with a Raspberry Pi 2 as a low power transceiver.
AmateurRadio.com is the BEST! 🙂
Good luck to everyone. If your new to the world SDR’S then wait till you see what these tiny tanks can do.
Great girs!

very nice stuff, like to test it.
Actually it is a great opportunity for any novice enthusiastic of radio technology.

Its so nice to hear of companies in this day and age giving away such valuable and useful prizes.

Mike
I have been playing around with some SDR stuff, especially for receiving EME signals. Which was quite successful with FCD, but using RTL-based proved to be far more difficult, in the end I was sucessful (using nooelec, by the way). I have no experience yet as to use SDR based transmitters. Would be very interested ro experience that as well.
Thank you for the initiative of this competition – Loads of success! 73
I could make great use of one of these prizes!
It is great that this company giving away so many products. Thanks and I hope I win one.

Good idea for commercial SDR devices. The future for SDR equipment.
Good luck with the NooElec and AmateurRadio.com.
Nice toy
Great contest. Sure would like that HackRF.
SDR and the like casts asides ALL previous technology and makes
it as relevant as Roman artifacts!
Even the ability to create spectrum analysers with tracking generators
with such packages is questionable because the integration into
SDR devices questions as to whether there ever could be spurious
outputs due to manufacturing faults.
What a fantastic give away, hope one comes my way
Thanks for this opportunity – hope I win
I have 2 others, one is for android, perhaps I will get one of these to work.

SDR is the affordable and construction-free introduction to shortwave and amateur radio that will encourage new generations to take up the hobbies or train to work in the communications field. Once we built Crystal sets, and burned our fingers soldering – now we can hook up to a computer, tablet, or mme, and listen to the world, learn about proper radio procedure, and find out what they are doingthey the interdo.
This is a great way to spread the word amongst HAMs. SDRs are the future and this is a great promotion that will create interest amongst HAMs.

He never won the prize, but I hope there is luck
I wrote features, monthly columns and tested SDR’s ten+ years ago as the originator and writer of Computers & Radios column in Monitoring Times. Way back then it was clear that SDRs would overtake all other radio receiver designs. And now they have..almost. Back then they was trying to break the $1000 barrier. Now, with these products, some are way under $100!!! Nice range of SDR products. What a difference a decade or so makes!
Great idea !

I’m hoping that I get a chance to win this as this will open up a new range of opportunities for me. Thanks Nooelec for this giveaway !

Hey guys,
Great site with a lot of good stuff. I am trying to set up an amateur radio shack at my American Legion post. And this SDR package would make a HUGE difference. Right now the club is just a dream with a magnificent antenna set up already in place, but NO radios. Except the one I use, a Baofeng UV5RE, but only have the rubber duck antenna at present. I’m on a fixed income and the guys at the post are hard to get funds out of. Mean time, I keep plugging away.
Keep up the great work. I’ll put the giveaway in God’s hands.

Love to have one of these cool gadgets in my shack!

SDR – Amazing technology yet it can even be inexpensive at the beginner level. Did the RealTek engineers actually imagine what their RTL2832 chip could eventually be used for?
The idea of “recording spectrum” (the I-Q stream)) then later being able to replay it later was a concept we couldn’t even think of just a few years ago. It is now possible; we can tinker and find the correct filters, etc that can allow you to prove that signal that you thought you heard was really there.
Gary (At one time, VE7BUV – over 45 years ago)

It would be perfect to own a SDR with an upconverter for listening HAM signals!!
I love these SDRs. I have yet to test it with the HAM IT UP option, but with the new update that will enable us to combine bandwidth for more instantaneous spectrum should be a great treat for really cheap! Keep up the great work!

Wow. Saw SDR in action at a friend’s shack. Looking forward to set up my own rig.
What a great way to promote hamradio worldwide – better than a thousand sunspots – well done!
Thanks!
SDR is fun and you learn something new at the same time. There will be some happy people who win the give away.
I would love to win!!
Great contest. SDR was my gateway into amateur radio.
Nice contest!
What an interesting way to get your feet wet with sdr.
Hope I win!
Pretty cool. Just started looking into SDR too!
Not a ham. All I do is listen in to local stuff via a Uniden 996T; Radio Shack Pro 160; Yaesu VR,5000. Was an IBM technician for 33 years; 6 years repairing HP, Tektronix, Fluke, any commercial instrument plus anything lasers. Spent weeks at HP, classes on Spec Analyzers. Network Analyzers, chart recorders, freq counters; Sampling scopes, etc.
I do have a spare Dell Latitude laptop. What would I do with the SDR?. Look for more local frequencies. But maybe I’m not eligible, not being a ham. At 89, am lucky just to be alive with great health. Believe it or not, am also a metal detectorist and a ballroom dancer with over 30 years of lessons.
Awesome contest.
I just installed a 144ft longwire and a homemade 9:1 unun, could really use that upconverter.
Sweet action!
Thanks for the new contest! The SDR gear looks good.
Wow, nice prizes!
Would be awesome.
Great contest. Hoping to win and use this gear.
I wanted a SDR Receiver from a long time. It would be awesome to win one! Good luck to everyone. Appreciate the sponsors for this fantastic giveaway. Happy hamming everyone.
I’d love to win a second HackRF and be able to do full duplex.
You might want to clarify this line, “Pre-installed in a black aluminum enclosure and with the RF shield.” The aluminum enclosure is for the Ham It Up and not the HackRF. The HackRF One has a black plastic case. The RF shield *is* for HackRF and is a small metal box/lid to solder over sensitive chips and traces.
What a wonderful way of getting new, fun technology into the hands of the users Congratulations!
You are pro team, specially who work on hack RF great job
It’s the future of radio and the HackRF One looks like a great product.
I saw an SDR at the last hamfest with an expensive mic. and an impressive spectrum display on 2 wide curved screens. Looked awesome!
I particularly like the ability to see the nearby spectrum and click on a signal of interest.
Just started to discover all the SDR tools possibilities ; great site !
Small is good! Compact is good! Fun to work with small and compact!
Fantastic event. Go amateurradio.com!

I don’t have a ham license yet, but I am studying for the exam and sure would love to win the HackRF prize to play with once I pass the test! Also, you can thank rtl-sdr.com for letting me know about this awesome site!
The RTL-SDR dongle is one of the most versatile pieces of equipment available for the ham and radio enthusiast. With a simple up converter it can cover the HF bands. It is surprisingly sensitive for such a simple receiver.
This is great idea for expading SDR knowledge and site advertisment!

Greetings from Poland, Good Job!

Radio is my dream !!!
To post or not to post, that is the question. Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the pings and multipath of outrageous propagation, or to take arms against a sea of packet, by opposing collisions. To PSK, to RTTY no more. And by a ground wave we say to end the heartache and the thousand natural shocks that VHF and UHF line of site is heir to. “Tis a consumation devoutly to be wished. To HF, to VHF, to UHF, perchance to QSO: ay, there’s the QSL.
I just took a look at http://www.nooelec.com — a veritable goldmine of goodies! Thanks for sponsoring this competition.
I check this website daily for up to date ham info. The contest is an extra incentive to keep returning.

SDR is the greatest thing to ever hit the radio hobby. I started out with Hallicrafters S-20 more years ago than I am willing to admit.
I’m learning about software defined radios right now in a class on spaceflight. This would definitely help!

Does HackRF One equal 40 NESDR dongles? I guess I need to try a HackRF.
Hi! I teach online classes to homeschool students. I teach some lectures on radio communications including the use of SDRs. To date, we’ve focused on some of the web-SDR sources that are available. Having a real SDR would make for great live demonstrations during lectures and/or as a give-away of my own to the best student in the class.
SDR is exciting, with so much potential.
Would like to win to get me started learning
Sounds like an interesting concept, would like to try one.
This page is getting looooooong!

Great way to generate interest in Amateur Radio. Count me in to the draw please!
SInce I haven’t gotten around to buying one of these SDRs yet it would be nice to win one. Our county just transitioned to UHF P25 digital and all the scanner listeners are up in arms that they can no linger hear the fire and sheriffs radio comms. Maybe I’d be a hero and make some money if I can show how to use a computer and a ‘cheap’ SDR to decode P25. It would be an interesting project and a good subject for my weekly technology column in the local newspapers. I might end up getting a few people interested in ham radio even…
Software defined radios are an interesting concept. I’d love to know more about them …. very muck different than the analog radios I am used to.

nice giveaway…good luck
I found your article while surfing the net looking for a way to read TPMS data from car tires. Still on that search, but now I know where to get the receiver devices that I will need. My project involves a 30 year old motorcycle that I am wanting to convert to digital dash using raspberry pi, arduinos, etc. While I am at it, I thought maybe I could convert my tires to use TPMS so that the system could warn me when one of my tires was low. Work in Progress. Anywho, thought I would enter your contest to see if I could win one of these devices. I now have liked your page on my Facebook so that I can keep tabs on what ya got to offer. Thanks!

As a retired Teacher and Broadcast Engineer – Thank you for helping us money challenged try to keep up on the newer tech.
I love to explore the capabilities of all SDRs. Such a neat concept in such a small package. A tremendous bang for the buck. The audio quality of the final output is truly wonderful.
Great! I hope I will win the first prize!
I would love to win a HackRF! I’ve always wanted one, but I’m not a rich man.
Thanks 🙂
MW
great site, good prices
Thank you for your invitation to your contest. I have long been fascinated by SDR radio and have spent a lot of time talking to Software Defined Radio reps at the Dayton Hamvention.
This post has an excellent SNR! =^P
Good luck everyone! 🙂
Great equipment, great idea.
I wish I wish I wish I win this contest
🙂
Nooelec Has great products which Ive use a few
over the years
I use my NooElec Ham It Up often.
Many thanks for the opportunity!
I’m surely in. 🙂
I have played with software defined radios using the R820T SDR device which I purchased directly from NooElec. The improved version would be very exciting to try in my revived ham experience. I was licensed in 1979 and very active for about 10 years when other life priorities needed my attention. Now retired from the Air Force and the world’s largest aerospace company, I really enjoy getting back to the fundamentals of ham radio. I would really be excited to receive one of the prizes.
I’ve been a big fan of NooELEC. Great customer service fast shipping. Can wait to see who the lucky winners are. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!
Cool.
Guess I need to sign up for the newsletter, almost missed this one. Nice site
by the way.
Really nice products indeed.
In randomness we trust.
I’ve been wanting a hackrf for a long time. Would be way cool to win!
I have a Hackrf up converter but another one along with the SDR dongle would not go astray! It works beautifully in conjunction with my Elecraft KX3.
Hope to win one for Brazil!

Cleared a spot on the operating bench for the SDR-TXCVR or ? This a great opportunity, Thanks…
Good luck to all of the contestants! NooElec and Mike Ossmann are the best!
I have been using NooElec SDR receivers for almost 3 years. The mos recent addition in May 2015 is to feed FlightAware ADS-B to their network. Depending on the day of the wek I track approx 2400 3300 aircraft daily with 300K+ position reports.
SDR is the future of Ham radio.
Thanks.
Well since one of my dongles was recently fried I could really use some new equipment. Here’s hoping. 🙂
-sure would be nice to get a-hold of a HackRF…
Yes, I want one..!
Very nice page. I like what I see and see what I like.

Well, I’m feeling lucky after winning ($4.00) in the huge powerball a few weeks back hopefully my luck will hold out to win one of your fine products as well.
gotta be in it to win it 🙂 Thanks in advance, 73 Glenn
Great a chance to win some goodies 😉
I purchased a sdr dongle and the upconverter. I had no luck with receiving any HF signals. It may be my location, I live within eyesight of all the TV transmitters and most of the radio stations in the Cleveland area. Perhaps, some of the new equipment will help?
Wow, I can’t miss a chance to win any of this great stuff!
Good luck and 73’s
Fantastic Giveaway…
Sdr is the future and these devices are locks that you can open now to be ready for it.
Thanks for giving back and for helping keep amateur radio relevant and alive. I enjoy Nooelec SDRs. They study the tech so we can enjoy the craft.
It would be very nice to win one of these bundles o SDR recievers! Thanks!!
I hope to use SDR to receive & transmit over HF, experiment in various digital modes including PSK, DRM. My dream is to design an RF transceiver based on SDR, perhaps Hack RF coupled with a power amp. I purchased a RTL-SDR from Nooelec few months ago, installed SDR# on my 15 year old computer & managed to receive many stations, fantastic product I tell ya!
Great idea, I use the Ham-it-up Up-convertor and the dongle every day as a panadapter.
Great stuff
Bob KH6KG
Count me in on this contest please!
Whooooooo!
This would make a great tool to study propagation.
Am currently working with an NESDR Mini 2+ and Ham-It-Up. Works great.
Great Products
Nice giveaways! Looking forward to this.
One can never have too many radios
I am new to the concept of SDR radio and immediately can see that this is the future of radio. In addition, I can see people like myself will be able to obtain sophisticated radios that are software defined; radios that I/we could never hope to afford. I’m trying to imagine what’s next after SDR and know that whatever man can dream of, he can manifest. Isn’t it grand?
I have the sdr dongel and upconverter. I really have enjoyed them.
Please accept my entry
Using your SDR receivers now, looks good!
I’ve been thinking about buying a HackRF to play with. It would be more fun with a FREE one…
Hello NooElec ~ Thank You for leading the way with affordable SDR quality products that make ham radio accessible to everyone, and help to grow the dx and amateur radio communities here in America and worldwide. Great (and generous) promo contests. Go NooElec !!
I am already having fun setting up a Nooelec SDR NESDR Mini 2 with various applications including set up on Linux. Also constructing antennas for same.
Awesom contest, I’m happy that you are promoting the Ham radio hobby in this way.
I’m looking forward to see more interest in this subject.
Sounds Great! Good luck everyone!
I have had great luck with the NOO-ELEC dongle..even made a video or two..have been lusting over the hack rf for quite a while now. I think SDR is the future of ham radio.
SDR Radio is future to all the Bands and Modes
Best of luck People…
SDR is a great way to get into the radio hobby.
What a great idea to get folks talking about SDR. In a very small space you can have a great receiver/transmitter. Thanks for doing this!
I’ve been enjoying my SDR bundle w upconverter here in Manila, Philippines!
Looking forward to more SDR products from Nooelec.
Cheers,
Rom

Sure why not, count me in!
SDR is very interesting to experiment with!
Very cool contest!
Thanks for this opportunity. I’m new to SDR and I’m very excited about the potential for audio, video and data communication. This is the year for me to jump in with both feet. A great chance to win some great equipment.
its awesome
nice prices
good time to discover new technology for me
Very nice prize packages. Many great opportunities for exploring the world of SDR. 73
thanks for great offer
Recently I bought a dongle and have been having some awesome experiences with NOAA satellites and ADS-B tracking. I would love to increase my range of exploration with a HackRF (which I have been looking at for HF). It would be nice for the full range that HackRF provides, but also for the TX capabilities for a General license studying ham. I lacked the ambition cause I don’t have the radio! Please consider me.
Thanks Nooelec for supporting the Amateur Radio Hobby!
Wow. Lots of prizes.
*fingers crossed*
Cool! Thank you NooElec for this giveaway
That’s awesome! Also keeping my fingers crossed 🙂
I intend to buy a sdr dongle to experiment with. Please enter me into the drawing.
I have a hackrf 1, which I actually purchased from you last year and another one would be awesome to experiment with digital amateur television. I’m working on the possibility of using VHF/UHF bands to transmit DATV on to make it more beneficial during disaster public service operations and a lot more cost effective for getting live SD television from point A to B on existing equipment. The second hackrf would be a very good tool for doing my experimentation and existing equipment can’t handle very low sampling rates required to make digital television fit into the required voice bandwidth on 2 meters or even possibly 6 meters. I believe this would be a very useful tool for making this happen.

I have a nooElec R820T2 SDR & DVB-T. NESDR MINI 2. Which I bought from NooElec it works great and have recommended it to all of my friends and coworkers into SDR. Keep up the good work and excellent hardware. I hope I win I could use some new stash to continue learning.
Good Lyck! Thanks for awesone great idea! 73!
Happy to participate and love your products.
Yay SDR for the planet ! That’s so cool !
Sounds like a good chance. I am in?
Thanks for great offer, Fingers crossed…
Loved the Vintage radio article. Apart from the memory of by the pool listening, I have 2 MW ( remember Medium Wave instead of AM ! )and SW valve radios, one Bush, the other a Philips. Still working and with sticky labels showing where stations were located on the tuner dial. Turning on requires patience ( as the valves warm up ) and scanning is by hand ( turning the dial ). Good reminder every now and then of how far we’ve come in broadcast quality and technology.
John Graham
Thanks a lot for this opportunity!

Great chance to win a big prize. Thanks a lot..
After being disappointed with dongles purchased directly from China, my son ordered 2 of your R820T SDR dongles for me,which have been used in combination with RasberryPi’s and Dump 1090 to track ADSB equipped aircraft. The sensitivity of your little receivers is excellent and I got really good distance out of them, with a few simple home built antennas.
Of course the dongles were also used in combination with PC, to tune in to all sort of other frequencies. Even though I may not (?) win one of your “Giveaways”, I like to take this opportunity to say, that there is a huge difference between your dongles and others I have used. A very happy customer on this end. (Unfortunately, even though I started with my Ham license many years ago,I never finished :-).
Count me in. Thanks
Great chance to win a big prize. Thanks a lot..
From Russia crazy hacker with love!!!
Using my SDR for ADSB in my airplane, inexpensive way to start.

I will be glad to take part – but the chances of winning – no))
Great contest! Hope to get the prize!
Very generous of you guys. Good luck to all!
I have just started to lean about SDR’s and I am enjoying the experience. I have several NooElec dongles and their ham it up converter. I am experimenting now with designing antennas for the dongles. It would be nice to have additional SDR equipment to experiment with.
Well this would be lovely! 😀
All GooD
Verry Verry nice
my prezent
What a great offer. I currently run a Nooelec SDRRTL on a raspberry pi feeding Flightaware and ADSBExchange.
Some new kit would be just what I need to help towards setting up another feeder or delving deeper into amateur radio. I remember how hard it used to be just getting marine beacons or wx fax. So much easier now.
Wish me luck!!!
Phill
Hack RF my dream…

Prior purchases have turned out to be better than described. Good quality and design makes for a reliable product.
SDR!!!
“Making every man mad”!
Very good progect.
My congretulations, AmaterRadio.com!
This is some really nice SDR stuff!
A great idea. Like the crystal set did it for me, we must somehow put the “magic and amazing” back into radio by demonstrating the reception of very weak signals using SDR. Bouncing off satellites stuff. I hope I win!
Best regards, Eric

First time to this site…NICE!!!
Awesome ! Health & Happiness to all of you ?
SDR Dongles are the most exciting gadgets to appear on the amateur radio scene in the last decade. The application of microelectronics and software techniques and the universal use of PC is a revolution.
And new frontier for amateur radio exploration. Bravo to the sponsors
I’d love to start experimentation with an SDR receiver! I don’t have a HAM license yet. Big hugs,
Arturo.
I hope to win any of the prizes. I have been experimenting with sdr radios for
some time and am looking forward to more development and expansion in the science
and practical application of sdr radio.

Kool site!
did not know that it existed
Thabks for the tip!
SDR is an exciting area for me.
Greetings Everyone!
I purchased an SDR USB dongle package with an HF up-converter from Nooelec a couple of years ago and have obtained lots of enjoyment from experimenting with it. Their service was great and is probably even better now considering their growth since then.

Tom, VA7TA
Already have the Hamitup and looking forward to the Rack RF and mini SDR.
This is amazing discoveries for me. This stuff is surprisingly versatile.
Jean-Pierre Gagnon, VE2ARJ
Have let my call expire…SDR is an novel concept and has rekindled my interest back into amateur radio. Need to learn more and get my dongle set up for use. Getting picked would ensure I have equipment I need to move forward. Formerly KB0ESB
SDR is the future! 🙂 Want to experiment with SDR / raspberry pi to make a SDR server. Leo satellites be ready to be tracked! 73
SDR is great way to have a great receiver for low cost. The SDR software available have features not found on most traditional SW receivers.
KN9O
I would love to upgrade from my dongle, I’m seeing each day more limitations on my hardware.
These are very useful items. I already have a NooElec SDR but winning another one would be good. I’m not sure about “AmateurRadio.com” but I’ll see.
This is a very interesting site, I shall tell my ham friends about it.
John
Greetings from Russia!
I have three of the Realtek E4000 SDR dongles up and running, but would like to upgrade to an SDR with more flexibility.
I run these with rtl1090 for aircraft watching
I’ve been interested in SDR for quite some time. I received an email from Noolec about the contest. I’ll be shopping on this site soon.
73
Thank you very much! Greetings for all from Argentina, I’m very anxious waiting my callsign!

Great nooelect equipment.
SDR is the future in tech fields i am with my colleague working on SDR / raspberry pi to make a SDR server.
I like the information on the SDR radios
Entering the contest.
Awesome, Would be nice to get a new SDR dongle or something. I’m not getting so great results with a standard DVB Dongle.
SDR was a great gateway to getting my amateur radio license.
So I need to use an SDR in this year’s foxhunt!
Have made initial purchase of NooElec Dongle and Hamitup from here and happy so far. Got some help for the SDR# software also. EZ way into this part of the hobby and not too many $$ also.
I look forward to see if i am lucky
Please enter me into the contest.
Love using your SDR merchandise. Could always use some more….
I love to tinker with new things! I hope I win!
I already have some earlier NooElec gear and if the new stuff can exceed the older ones they should be really amazing!!!! Darn, if only my local PDs hadn’t switched to encrypted P25 these would be priceless… 🙁
Would love to win another SDR I just bought the NooElec NESDR Mini 2+ 0.5PPM TCXO USB RTL-SDR Receiver. Love it!! Works great.
I think the SDR is the most exciting thing to hit amateur radio this decade. Now with products like the RTL-SDR hams can experience SDR with a minimal cost.
Let’s see 🙂
SDR Radio is great fun, and I’ve always enjoyed getting my SDR Gadgets from Nooelec! Let the games begin!
Not licensed at present time but interested in sdr
That would be awsome, slowly building my shack as funds are available but no HF yet. Already own their mini sdr stick. Lots of fun!

SDR seem to be a very cost effective radio solution
This sounds like a great opportunity, not only for those already in the community but the new folks as well!
I’m extremely interested in SDR. I’ve been a ham since 1967.
Fascinated with SDR. Promises to be an exciting addition to all ham activities.
Fantastic.! The radio is my hobby for a long time. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in the contest.
Thanks for such a great giveaway! Good luck to all the participants!
These Dongles open a facinating doorway to SW listening at very economical rates and very educative too.
Nice contest. Great radios.
Nice to discover this site. I have always read about amateur radio, just never got around to actually getting my call sign. I do have four scopes though (Tek 465s and Tek 7603s). Does that count? 🙂
SDR rules
How cool would it be having a HackRF
Might even let my dad play with it.
Planning on using SDR and noise source as a less expensive spectrum analyser … going to try tuning a vhf duplexer using only these tools. Let’s see how it works!
The dongle works great, and customer service bends over backwards to make sure you get it set up correctly. Thanks, guys!
Great Giveaway, looking forward to getting something that will allow me to listen in and hopefully learn enough to get my license soon.. 🙂
SDR has always been a get round to project. Maybe this will do it.
HI, great idea to do this give away, great way to get on sdr world And listen the whole RF band. Best 73 to all.
Wow, I’m just starting out in SDR, so this would be a huge help.
Here’s hoping…

SDR is the next generation of radios.
One of my dream kits of given for free
I am really interested in SDR and radiofrequecy, I’ll hope win.
Thanks for the contest!
Just got a basic SDR and am loving it! A HackRF would be icing on the cake. They cost too much for me to justify getting one at the moment. 🙁
Hope I am ‘in to win’ on time!
Wow What can I say, this is great I have not been able to afford SDR and have never tried it.
Thanks for the contest and that it is available worldwide,I am a retired US Marine/Vietnam Veteran living in the Philippines and as such am not eligible for most giveaway’s.73

am a swl , thanks
there’s not much to COMMENT; I only hope I’ll be among winners
I’ve already got one USB-dongle SDR RX that I use for Marine Automatic Ident System (for identifying ships in a VHF radio range – depends mainly on ANTs of course). It’s slightly below the performance of “classic” AIS RXes, but its extremely small size&weight (+ powering from PC) is just GREAT, for a travelling Technician. So, another addition to my “SDR-park” would be highly welcome
73, Juro
I have been using RTL SDR receivers since 2012, and they are a great piece of test equipment, DX gear, also they make a great way to do radio astronomy thanks to the access of the hydrogen line frequencies of 1.420 GHz which means that the SETI program needs to get involved in using RTL SDR with their small and large radio telescopes. They are great tools for the Radio Science Obeserver, The Engineer, The Technician, and the Hobbylist such the SWL and ham radio operator.
SDR’s are amazing. They’re the biggest disruptive change to Amateur Radio since the invention of SSB!
Very interesting and an oppurtunity to try the latest technology in communication .
73’s and more power to all,

ПОБЕДЯТ, А ЭТО И ЕСТЬ ДВИГАТЕЛЬ ПРОГРЕСА

Would be nice to use , reciving new digital signals in the air 🙂
I have been an avid “ham” since 1947 and have really enjoyed the many blessings of new technology as they came along. Winning some new “cutting-edge” equipment would be the highlight of my life and would be something that I could pass on to others.
Would love to win some sdr gear because I don’t have any yet.
Wow!!! Been dreaming of getting one but it costs an Arm and a Leg here. Hoping to win one and you’ll make this Ham’s dream come true.

Hope I’m the lucky one to test the sdr in my region. Would be useful for my aprs project.
Would be great to have one of those sdr.
I feel lucky today.
I have a couple of the SDR sticks (Mini 2), and recently picked up an up-converter with enclosure. I can dabble a little now with the HF bands in addition to other monitoring I had been able to do previously. Ham bands, trunking systems, these devices are pretty versatile and the price is nice for what they can do.
The HackRF would be a nice, it’s on my future wish list.
Wow! Great gift! I feel lucky today!
