ICOM IC7300 – Time for a price drop?
Much to my surprise the price has still to fall, although there are “cracks”: some are now offering the rig with free gifts.
Personally, I can wait. It is a good rig, but to my mind, the dealers have had a very good time and very good profits.
Now is the time to drop the price. Sub £1000 (~$1,300) please – soon.
Hi Roger!
$999 after rebate a few weeks ago was the trigger I needed.
73,
Dex
A few weeks back HAM Radio Outlet (HRO) had that $999.00
Deal on the Icon 7300. So it will come again.
i’m not convinced as for the same money the yeasu ft-991a has more bands all mode plus c4fm to offer! so I am thinking more on this radio!!
I ordered a 7610—Price? appx 34 hundred dollars! The place was running a special promotion for Black Friday.
the downside—If i decidem to sell my 7600 I won”t get a lot for it ;-(
Roger, do you know if it is any good on 2200m or 630m. Does
it tune in 1Hz steps ?

Hi so market forces are what drives the price. so given so many amateurs want this particular radio a price drop is hardly going to happen. so many now so keen to have a new model every time one appears. this is what keeps teh prices up.
