Mobile rig for the price of a (Chinese) HT

So cheap you just have to buy one! According to the the listing it’s VHF or UHF not dual band. Thanks to Steve G1KQH for the tip-off.

Looks pretty good. High power only 10w. Would be fine for local work. Thanks for the info.

  • Chuck Heath, K6ZIZ:

But did you notice the SHIPPING cost is more than the radio itself?

  • Larry KI6ZQY:

When I view it, it was not more than the radio. The specs say VHF, but display shows UHF.

  • Bruno W6USC:

Looks like you can get a vhf or uhf model
Total price with shipping is about $68.00
10w output. Might get one on uhf can be a good gmrs radio also

  • Sensational! I simply wanted to thank you so much again. I am not sure the things that I might have gone through without the type of hints revealed by you regarding that situation.

  • This is top-notch. Hmm, it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer, but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for newbie blog writers? I’d appreciate it.

  • Exceptional job. You truly did more than visitors’ expectations. Thank you for rendering these helpful, trusted, edifying and also cool thoughts on the topic to Kate.

  • Fantastic. When I initially commented, I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Thanks.

  • Super-duper! Do you mind if I quote a couple of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your blog? My blog is in the same niche as yours, and my users would benefit from some of the information you provide here. Please let me know if this ok with you. Thank you.
