RadioKitGuide.com is being updated, and you can help!

Hi all,

The Lydford from Walford

I am in the process of updating radiokitguide.com.  If you can think of any new kit sources that I haven’t covered yet, please leave a comment here.  I am looking for RECEIVER, TRANSMITTER, and TRANSCEIVER  kits.  I will cover accessories at a later date.  If you know of a spectacular source of accessory kits though, send it along anyway.  I am adding a couple of new sources, and making changes to YouKits, Small Wonder Labs (goodbye), TenTec, and several others.  Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi Neil,
4 State QRP Kits just released the AA0ZZ EZKeyer II memory keyer this past week and I have one on order. They’re only $35 shipped! I worked some in the Fists Fall Sprint over the weekend as W4FFF and 3 different tenures last week as N4A, the Special Event Station for NAQCC’s 9th Anniversary and after sending all those CQ’s I decided it was time for me to get a memory keyer and it just happened that 4SQRP released this new one the same week! I saw you had a listing on your page for 4SQRP and this is a great CW accessory at a great price too! My Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V home station rig has a memory keyer built into it, but I don’t have the FH-1 keypad that is required to program them! I’ve heard finding them is like finding hen’s teeth! I did find the plans to construct a FH-1 keypad, but it requires several precision resistors with some odd values and 5% tolerance that may be hard to locate, but still may attempt to find the parts in the future. Getting the AA0ZZ EZKeyer II kit from 4SQRP Kits seemed a much simpler solution to me.

    Very 73!
